• Royalties and taxes:
  The government take (royalties and taxes) at a commercial stage project can reach billions of dollars per year.
• Employment:
  Developing the energy field and establish a new employment segment creating a large number of jobs.
• Diversifying Israel energy sources:
  The project will enhance the usage of natural gas as a clean energy source. 
• The project will advance research and academic activities for developing alternative energy sources for the underground heating (Solar energy).
